HER motorcycle diaries
so riding was kinda like me today--VERY hormonal.
circuit revision was alright at first, with me getting #19 like i wanted. figure 8 was alright, in fact i do believe i was going too fast at times. and one time i banked SO LOW, i felt my foot scrape the ground. how scary is that? i can only thank God that i didn't panic and fall right off. at that speed, i swear, anything could happen. the likes of which have never happened to me before.
but then i started falling. once i banged the kerb at the slalom cos i was going too fast. then i just kept falling and falling at the freaking crank course, ending off with a spectacular fall at the exit of the figure 8. it was so sad. not to mention painful. i have a new set of scrapes on my left knee now.
and i was feeling horrible, not to mention supremely embarrassed, so i ran off to the toilet. then when i came back, syed iskandar made everything better. it'll be kind of boring if i retell everything here, so you know, for details, read the main blog.
then it was the pract 8. the warmup was alright, except i found that with the last fall, i'd screwed up the clutch of #19. so at the E-brake, it completely and totally stalled. i nearly died. of embarrassment and despair.
i had to change to #14, which i'd never tried before, but which gave quite satisfactory results after all. except for when i ran off the plank. SIAL AH. ohwell. i wouldn't have passed anyway. in addition to that, i got 20 points. haha.
oh but lashguy was so nice. he even briefed me on what to do, cos he knew i'd missed the briefing. i mean, HOW NICE. i really wish i'd asked him to have a drink with me after lesson. i mean, it was raining [baby] elephants and all, and we both bought drinks. but i didn't, i was too scared. haha.
so u know, i know i failed, but i had a GREAT time, thanks to him. do u even see me blogging about the billions of other cute guys [one pract 8 and a whole bunch of 2B orientation] there today? NO.
